Appropriate clothing is of great importance for runners, especially for high level runners. In fact, take the case of a person who goes running for 30 minutes just twice or three times a week: he or she will never have any troubles with the clothing. It doesn’t matter if you have dressed too much or too little when your landing is so short. In winter you only need a warm track suit, a pair of gloves and a headcloth, in summer just a T-shirt and shorts. On the contrary, it is of great importance using a proper pair of trainers at any levels and for any performance. Of course, who runs regularly following intensive and hard trainings needs appropriate clothing: light and transpirable sportswear is very important in summer, above all in a marathon, while in winter both warm and transpirable sportswear, preventing an excessive sweating, are of fundamental importance. |

Even such a simple sport activity like running may be better performed thanks to the use of different accessories intended just to complete the sportswear, help the athlete with the training activity or, thanks to the use of instruments, check your personal physical effort. A watch has always been that kind of instrument which best suits an athlete’s daily needs. Timing is very important at all levels and it becomes more and more important with high level athletes. I am not really a slave to this fundamental accessory, anyway, I must say, I can’t help it every time I go running. On the contrary, I don’t feel at ease when I leave it at home, it happens very hardly, but, in that case, I have already clear the course I normally run and the time I am going to train. |
